DOOM

I can safely say that the new DOOM album "Born Like This" definitely does not get old after numerous repeated listens. I don't really understand he can consistently come up such gloriously off-the-wall flows all while working with such a loose and unique rhyme scheme. Here's a few of my favorite tracks from the album, which you can pick up here:

New Shoes!

Shoemakers Generic Surplus have started pushing some great new models for the upcoming spring/summer seasons. With a focus on proven styles and comfortable materials, Generic Surplus has a definite winner with these red plimsols. You can pick up a pair to rock for the rest of the season over at Urban Outfitters.

You also might want to check out these perfectly distressed and hand painted slip-ons with Generic Surplus parent company "Generic Man." These were made as a collaboration with clothing designer Steve Alan, and though they definitely fit in with a dressed down look the craftsmanship is topnotch. They might be a bit on the pricey side, but I could see these working pretty much year-round. Buy 'em here.

Awaydays

There's a few movie trailers that I've seen recently that have piqued my interests, but this one for the British import "Awaydays" looks pretty damn interesting. The soundtrack looks pretty badass too!

Circlesquare

I've been a huge fan of Circlesquare's new album titled "Songs About Dancing And Drugs" since I got it a couple weeks ago. I recently came across this remix made by sure-fire producers Russ Chimes and Anoraak. Usually any effort by either of these producers is well worth seeking out, but when they come together it's always pure gold. Check out Circlesquare on Myspace, and be sure to purchase his new album!
